Pascale Hemery is a figurative artist who uses the subtle narrative possibilities of her me-
dium to reveal new beauty in the world, where the self forgets itself, and expression finds
freedom.
A catalogue raisonné of her engravings and lithographs, prefaced by Michael Edwards
of the French Academy, was published by Roland Plumart to coincide with her retrospec-
tive at the Gravelines Print Museum in 2006. Michael Edwards then gave a conference
about her work during her « Urban Remains » exhibition at the Contemporary Arts Centre
in Pont-l’Évêque in 2010. The text of this conference has now been published in Essay ,
Magie de la Ressemblance, Editions PUF, 2020.
Her works is regulary presented in Museum in France. She is représented by galleries in
London, New-York, Paris.
Her art is taking part of public collections Museum of the arts of Geneve, Switzeland,
Carnavalet Museum City of Paris Museum (BHVP), French National Library (BNF), Libra-
ry of the Institut of France, Gravelines Museum of Prints and Origin al Drawings, private
collection.
